I drove 2 hours to buy a boat, motor, and trailer because of a wonderful salesperson who answered all of my questions on the phone. Ann-Marie took the time to go over the prices of everything that I was interested in & answered all of my questions about the different products. She was very patient with me, even though I had so many questions. I had called dealers in my area but none were willing to take the time to give me information or prices on what I was interested in. They all told me to come into the dealership for that information. Why would I want to drive to each different dealer when it should be a simple matter to give me the prices & information over the phone! Ann-Marie made buying my boat, engine & trailer an easy, pleasant experience. I will certainly go back for my next boat.
5 star! I traveled all the way from Santa Fe, TX 775 miles round trip to purchase my Carolina Skiff from Cypress Cove Boating Center. I want to thank Ann-Marie for all of her hard work to get this deal done. She was awesome! I also want to thank Erik the chief mechanic for a great time on the bayou while we were doing the test run. Everyone here was friendly and professional. It was worth the trip to experience such a great buying experience.
I found a beautiful Scout on boattrader at Cypress Cove Boating Center and called the dealership to get the price & details. A lady, Ann-Marie, answered the phone & politely answered my questions. She helped me get everything done easily over the phone & thru email for my purchase so all I needed to do was come take my test ride & pick up the boat. The owner, Sonny, even had the accessories we wanted for the boat shipped to our home since it was a 13-hour trip (one way). I couldn’t be more pleased with my boat! The entire buying experience was great! I want to thank Eric, the master tech who took me out on my test ride. He showed me everything on the boat and motor. He has to be one of the most patient mechanics I have ever met. He answered all of my questions. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. The only downside to the whole thing is that Cypress Cove isn’t close to my home. They made the 26-hour trip worth every minute.
Cypress Cove Boating and staff are great. I’m one of those first timers, so I needed some guidance. Ann-Marie was very attentive all through the process of helping me make the best choice of boat (CS JVX 16) and with connecting me with a 3.49 % loan. I did shop around, and Cypress Cove’s package was the best bang for the buck. And, their location is about half way between our vacation home on Dauphin Island and our main residence in Lafayette, so if we do need service, we can just drop it off and pick it up very conveniently. Wade and Josh took the time to show me the boat and motor basics of use and maintenance. If you are looking for a great boat buying experience, you won’t go wrong by contacting these folks. I even got a follow-up email from Ann-Marie asking about my first weekend on the water. They want customers to be happy with their boats purchases. I am, and you will be, too.
Attention: Wade I want to express special thanks to Wade this morning. I called asking for advice regarding an electrical problem with my 115 Yamaha. Wade took the time to look up the electrical system on my motor and gave me the advice to solve my problem. It was important advice because I keep my boat in a boathouse, not on a trailer. I bought my Yamaha from Cypress Cove in 2008 and I have it serviced every year at Cypress Cove. I wish that I could give you more than 5 stars. I cannot thank Ms. Ann-Marie enough for helping me & my wife with our boat purchase. She listened to everything that we wanted to do on our boat & then showed us what would work for us in our price range. WE LOVE OUR BOAT! Even after our purchase, she helped us find the radio, GPS/Fishfinder, VHF, and trolling motor that works on our boat. In my 80 years, I have never met someone who cared so much about her customers. I will never buy another boat from anyone else.
